THE BEST ANSWER
Jelly Bracelets with different color meanings have been used in many health and fitness campaigns to fight cancer and other diseases. However today's youth have devised a new sexual meaning for the wearing of the bracelets and they are a trend in some schools.
The wearing of jelly bracelets started when Lance Armstrong, an athlete overcame cancer and defied the odds. As a way of helping to fund cancer research he helped to design and sell a simple bracelet that was yellow and had the words, "Live Strong" on them. The colored bracelets caught on and Lance raised millions of dollars in cancer research money. Other health foundations around the world have set up similar funds as well.
Today jelly bracelets, or sex bracelets, are currently popular among high school students. It is said the bracelets are color-coded according to the wearer's willingness to perform certain sexual acts. Kids in many high schools refer to them as "sex bracelets" and the different colors can denote the wearers sexual preference(s), or be used in games.
In a sexual game called snap, a boy or girl snaps or breaks a bracelet off the wearers wrist. The rules of snap can require players to do all manner of things from kissing to actual intercourse, depending upon the color of the bracelet.
The idea is to divert bloodflow from mischievous hands to befuddled brain.
Never works of course. Their hands drop off and they can't do homework anymore and their brains go haywire and explode from the uncustomary bloodflow.
One word:
Fad.
Silly bands!!!! They are all the rage. Everybody's wearing them.
It's not just teenagers. Collage kids and preschoolers are getting in on the act too.

Some of those bands that teenagers wear date back years and years. Going back 18 years just before I hit my teens we all had those thin coloured rubber bands that we used to buy off the local market stall for around 50p for about 10 bands. I still see these bands around today and recentley brought some more for an 80'd revival night.
I recentley brought a 'help for hero's' rubber band, they're exremly popular right now. Lots of different colours for different causes........ cancer awareness, racism, poverty etc. And the money they make from the selling of them goes to the charity.
some people claim they send a silent, secret message ... similar to the theory about displaying a handkerchief in one of your pockets, with some significance attached to which pocket it is, and the color of the handkerchief ... supposedly, this is the "code" for the bracelets ... (although, more than likely it's just an urban legend)
Color ........ Meaning
Black ...... Intercourse
Red ........ 69
Dark Blue Oral sex
Yellow ......Hugging
Pink ........ Flash breasts
Green ...... Fondling
Orange .... Love bite
Purple ..... Kissing
Gold ....... All of the above.
CUZ WE COOL LIKE THAT
It's just a trend going on right now.
Yeah, they look like nothing when you wear them.
My daughter gave her's away....her latest craze.

A kid selling door to door said her dad made 'em, and they'll be national late August 2010.
I have to admit, they're pretty cute, and you see the design when she wears 'em
Silly bands is another fad that'll most likely be over in a month. Ranging from preschoolers to H.S seniors, everyone seems hooked on the idea that wearing animal shaped bands makes you cool

no no it's usually emo kids who happen to think it's really cool for some reason.
Otherwise people might wear them to keep sweat off there hands if they're working out.(Any physical activity)
