  • In the original manuscripts yes I do believe in inerrancy. However, I feel that the existing manuscript body has enough integrity to be considered reasonably reliable. . And yes, I do feel that the current canon of Scripture is sufficient. For support of this assertion I would point out that every Christian Leader and group that has attempted to append to or add on to our canon has ultimately ended in doctrinal error. . This I believe. Part faith. Part reason. And part personal experience as a recovered member of a Mind Control Cult. . +5 for your fine question.
  • Inerrancy, I agree with Mister IT. The original scrolls are reasonably inerrant. Sufficiency, no. Jesus himself told the disciples he had more to tell them but they could not bear it. I question why the majority of the new testament was written by Paul, who never physically spoke w/ or even saw Jesus. Then you have the gospel of Thomas, Mary and others who were taught directly by Jesus and their writings did not make it in the new testament. We have to question why the council of nicea would do this.
