I adhere to there being two kinds of stress. Bad stress and good stress. Without good stress your digestive powers are weakened. We need good stress in our life and it also helps to watch what we put into our bodies.
  • I have fibromyalgia which causes daily pain. I have learned to live with the daily dull ache. It's the fibro flare ups that are very painful. I make the best of things and stay positive. Being negative will not help anything and stress only makes pain worse. I also have osteoarthritis which gives me excruciating pain at times especially when it joins in with a fibro flare up. All I can do is ride it out and pray the pain will ease up soon. My heating pad gets a workout. I have nicknamed it my "heating pad hubby!" lol I spend a lot of time with "him" and he is so warm and cozy. lol Seriously staying positive is the best way to deal with any kind of pain. Feeling sorry for oneself is not going to do any good and as I said before up there ^^^ somewhere, it actually makes the pain worse when you are stressed. I try to not get stressed at all. But I am human and it does happen at times.

  • Always. Degenerative joint disease, fibromyalgia. I'm trying to eat less sugar. First because of a threat of diabetes, but then realized my pain was less. I suggest for anyone in pain or with a high risk of cancer to give up sugar as best you can and see if it helps.
