No I'm afraid not. My first instinct would be to look after the child/ren that I would undoubtedly be towing along with me. I think he was amazingly impetuous, his son could have lost a father that morning.

In all honesty: I would judge the situation first, for example: Do I hear or see an oncoming train nearby? If I think there was time to do it, I would.

I would not have done it but only because I never knew there was a grove in between the tracks that you fit into so the train wouldn't hit you. Plus I don't think I could have reacted at quickly at Mr. Aurty did.
