Have you ever killed an animal,either hunting or by accident and what did you kill.

    I have, sadly, killed quite a few Kangaroo's driving to and from my parent's home, which is in the Outback of Australia. It's never a pleasant experience - I always end up in tears and quite shaken, as they are quite large animals. I always try and check to see if one I have killed has a Joey (baby Kangaroo) in it's pouch, but, luckily, I haven't killed a Mummy Kangaroo yet.

    I have killed about 8 pack rats using traps. The pack rats entered a vehicle engine bay intent upon tearing the wiring apart, so my traps were protective (a form of hunting I believe). I killed a chicken once and an couple bunnies which were crossing the road (accidental). I think that's all.

    Yeah I have killed a few on purpose. Last one I killed was a duck that someone hit with a car. It had a broken back. I took my knife and killed it. I have also hit a few birds in my life driving.

    I hit a couple of dogs by accident while driving. It was truely unavoidable, as I am a animal fanatic. I ADORE animals of all kinds and was sick about those poor things. I still can't think about it.

    I had to put down one of my mom's cats as she had 22 of them and couldn't afford to care for them all properly(I am a strong proponent of spay/neuter). The cat got feline infectious perifrinitis(sic?) and his belly swelled up like a basketball and he was wailing like a wounded animal does so I went outside, dug a hole, put him in it and shot him.

    I have hit a cat on my way to my dads house. Although I am not to fond of cats, I cried the rest of the way there. When it was time to go home I went a different way so I wouldn't see it.

    I was once working on a allotment when out the corner of my eye i saw this massive rat and it was running right for me so i smacked it one with the spade i was using,unfortunatly it was too flat to have stuffed and mounted as a trophy of my triumphant first and last kill lol.

    No I haven't, I love animals (except for mice and rats) but I did witness my friends mother kill her guinea pig. She was very strict and told her she would only allow her to have it in the house if it was in it's cage. It got out and she mistakenly hit it with a carpet cleaning machine, she then stepped on it to put it out of it's misery. I felt awful and wish I could forget the whole thing.
