I turned 60 in July of 09. I have worked for a company for about 15 years and will probably stay with them for a few more. My 401K has about $50,000 and I would like to withdraw $10,000 to pay off a lone. Can this be done?

You can withdraw the money, but you will pay a 10% early withdrawal tax, as well as regular tax on the amount..........so think it over!! -
