Does anyone else think the internet term "Troll" is degrading to real trolls? I mean, don't get me wrong, trolls live under bridges and eat goats/people, but they don't really hang around of internet forums and DR people.

I think you are right... but we have a terrible habit of using words which already have a successful definition to describe other things... we change the meanings of words - maybe the trolls will have to find a new name for themselves, in the same was as the people of a happy disposition have had to do, as we can no longer call them gay.

In Afrikaans we have the word "Drol" which means piece of sh*t. Maybe the troll is more like a 'drol'? +

I confess I transform into a Troll every so often on numerous forums and get off on the serious reactions posed back towards me while I laugh in pleasure. But trolling is very fun for the troll but could be dangerous for the serious folk out there. Be thankful we call forum Trolls "Trolls" becuase quite Frankly nobody cares about the real trolls there not that high on the popularity scale if you haven't noticed.
