Study the history of US right from the begining of the voyages by the spaniads and other european nations,Freedom Struggle,Boston Tea party and finally the 4th July 1776 when it finally got independence with the emergence of Philadelphia as the 13th state. . Imperialism was there in US even after the freedom.Though,it wasn't under direct control of Imperial forces,business and war based imperialism was there.So Study American Civil war and also the world war.Oh,did I forget to say the Cold war after the formation of NATO? Time to buckle up.
