According to the Bible, Jesus was born in Bethlehem, spent a good deal of his early childhood in Egypt, and was in Jerusalem by his teens. The time between his late pre-teens/early teens and his adult (around 30) ministry is not recorded.

He came from Heaven to live as man so that we may be forgivin our sins and still have a close relationship with His (and our) Father in Heaven. Without Jesus we would still be under the Old Testament laws and have to sacrifice whenever we sinned. I am very thankful for Jesus going through the brutality of crucifixion, just so that I could have a personal relationship with God through Jesus. In His grasp, <:))))<>< "Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good." Romans 12:21
