"Chromium" is "Google Chrome" without the brand name "Google". Chromium's coding is up for grabs if anybody wants to take the code and use it for their own style of web browser (using Linux or Mac OSX, for instance). You can't get automatic updates with Chromium, and the logo is a little bit different than Google Chrome.

I found an installer(offline) for Google Chrome browser. Why doesn't Chrome just
have one as part of the application? The app worked fine.
