Replace the cable between the box and the tv. If the box has audio outs use them instead.
If all the connections are solids, and you have tried that TV at another location, I would suspect a defective cable box.
Do you need a coaxial cable with HDMI?

You're reading Just put a bigger tv in my room with a new cable box. Worked fine at first but now the only sound coming from it is a loud buzzing. Every other tv in the house is fine. The cable support guy was not very supportive so how do I fix it?
