  • Could be a vacuum leak or a worn out vacuum hose. I just had this happen to my Expedition. If you can get some one to keep it running (if they need to put it in nuetral and give it a little gas to keep it going) then check the hoses. Checking them with the engine off won't do any good since there won't be any vacuum sucking on the hose. Have you changed the fuel filter lately?
