Because lots of churches/denominations/religions hold to different doctrines so not everyone can be right all the time.

If my church says that all the others are wrong how can they all be right, including mine?

Christian believe that Jesus of Nazareth was the Son of God an that salvation only comes through Him. Jews believe that He was a heretic. How can both of us be right?

Because a lot of folks have too much invested in being right.

To start with my friend, The church is not the building where one goes to worship. It is the body of Christ.(The Believers) We are told in the bible to workout our own salvation with fear and trembling. This simply means you are responsable to pray and read the bible for yourself. To be a workman that can rightly divide the word of truth. If what your being taught in the church(building)you go to. Does not match up to the Holy Bible or has any other book that is used that does not match up to the Bible then it is in error! Let God be true and every man a lier. He gave us His word so that we would not be decieved by man. But we are responsibe to seek and pray!

If you look at societies throughout history, every one has had some type of religion. The Native Americans, ancient Egyptians, ancient Greeks and Romans, Hebrews, Muslims, Voo Doo, etc. There are a number of things you will find in common with all of them. They have a God or Gods or some higher level being that has power over them, their religion lays the groundwork for the moral structure of their society (i.e. 10 commandments for Christians), it is used to explain things that people don't understand (Hercules took the sun across the sky, God created the earth, etc.) and all religions explain what happens to you when you die. Which one is right? What makes one more right than another? I honestly don't know.

Well, if you "believe" Paul was speaking from inspiration from The Holy Spirit- Then you will also believe when he warned us about "another gospel" that would be preached. If the book of mormon just happens to be part of "another gospel" he warned us of, he said to let it be accursed. Wouldn't this make the mormon church wrong? I believe it does. We'll all find out in the end.

because they do not matter....all that matters to God is the 'heart' being right......what was it Jesus said to the Samaritan woman at the well when she asked which was right,pharisees,sadduccees,? HE answered that the day would come when it did not matter...where one or two were gatheed in HIS NAME, HE would be there also...even the Jewish sects of long ago hated each other, believed how they wanted......where there is no mercy ,compassion and love for all men, God has none for them..... Abraham did not have a religion, he just had Faith..... Jew or Christian...God had one PURPOSE...so ALL may know HIM and KNOW the REEDEMER when HE came.....its pretty much ACCOMPLISHED....HE is our SALVATION....and the world KNOWS....... right does not matter...only Faith and our individual 'heart condition' will set us free....the Truth.... for some , religion is their god.. for some , God is their religion....:)

If it's more than one church, god, concept; all become impossible to be right or correct. * Compare mathematics, always only one answer to a set calculation. 2+2 =4, always been, always will be. * God compares to 'zero', many formulas involving zero: 13 x0 = 666 x0 = 1 x0! same ONE answer! ZERO!!
