Well, I'll try this again! As I tried saying once already, the policy is different with different temps. You'll need to check with your agent. However beware. The integrity of a temp agent is on the same par,(or lower), than a used motorcar saleperson. Would you expect a used motorcar dealer to HONESTLY answer the question,"Will this auto serve me for at least 5 yrs?, or is there anything wrong with this auto? Of course you wouldn't. Neither should you expect honesty from a temp agent. But to get back to your query; Most have a qualifying period. They'll tell you it's to make sure that you're going to be dependable first. However that just doesn't wash. They can start your time from day one ane if you're not dependable, it won't matter anyway. The 'REAL' reason is so that once you make the trial period, it's a signal to them to use you until the day before you're vested and then you think your telephone is broken all of a sudden. They simply roll forward to the fresh meat! After all, you're only a temp, they have no loyalty to you whatsoever! The only people temp agencies help, are themselves and the few only looking for a temporary gig until something more solid comes along. If you're waiting for a temp agency to come through in the long run, then I'm afraid it's 'long time, no see!'
