  • it doesnt matter now does it ?
  • Depends, some people think that a boy's hair shouldn't be cut for a while...their reasoning I don't know. Some spiritual people like myself believe that one's strength is in the hair because your hair is the closet thing to God. Thus the reason why my mom didn't cut my hair until I was 5.
  • I shave mine also. It keeps him cool in the summer, and makes him look older. hes almost 2 and people think hes a small 3 year old when he gets his head shaved.
  • Don't think he really cares, does he?
  • No biggie - just be sure with the hot weather that there's a hat or something on his head when he's outside.
  • I have been shaving my boy’s head weekly since he was 8 months old (he is now 13 years old). I use a #1 guard which leaves just the tiniest bit (1/8 inch) of stubble. I shave his head every Saturday night. I can’t even imagine my son with hair as it looks so tidy and smart when it is shaved. I don’t understand why some women are sentimental about their boys’ hair! Why would a boy need hair? With two daughters fussing (curling, setting, spraying) their hair it is nice to have one child with no hair to fuss with! I think it also sets good habits for later in life as boys who grow up having their heads shaved often continue the practice as adults, or at least keep their hair no longer than a crew-cut.
  • Its not a big deal but why did you shave it in the first place?
  • I think shaved heads are itchy for kids as they grow back. There's plenty of choices between shaved and long. I would have probably chosen somewhere in between. I don't think you did anything "wrong" though. :D
  • As long as it's not too cold where you live. If it is, make sure you keep it covered up outside. My opinion is that I think little boys look better with their hair - not long though.
  • well I say long, it depends babys should be kept warm
  • You're halfway there. Now, all you need to do is find your local Skinheads Club and sign him up
  • IMO - good thing you're getting him used to haircuts at a young age. My mother was "sentimental" about my brother's hair - didn't get his first haircut until he was four. By THEN, he had enough cognitive reasoning to think it would hurt, or bleed - that the hair was part of him, and Mom was trying to hurt him. That was not a fun day, as I recall.
