  • Change is inevitable, you can go with the flow, or drown trying to fight it.
  • Possibly to times before the Industrial Revolution. Even to the Middle Ages. . But they simply don't seem to realize how tough those times were for common people to live in.
  • They are talking about when are politicians answered to us. When they did what was best for the people, not for themselves or lobbyists. When they actually read the bills they are voting on. All they want is government that follows the constitution and is a government by the people for the people. That is what they mean when they say they want their country back. Saying these people are ant-this or anti-that is just a way to discredit people you don't like. For example If you are against gay marriage you hate gays If you are against Obama care you hate sick people If you are against affirmative action you hate black people if you are against open borders you hate Mexicans If you are against Cap and Trade you hate the planet if you are against abortion you hate women If you are against raising minimum wage you hate poor people If you are against the Stimulus you hate America See what I mean.

  • One of our ABers, "leetmeat" explains this beautifully. "America is an upside down nation where the people order around the government" Too many of us have lost sight of this fact and are willing to, in the words of the late John Henry Faulk, "...sit back and let the hired hands run the ranch when they decide to get out of bed." Well, we the people, and that includes every one of us who own the ranch, should want it back. We all need to know that every time we allow an unknown bureaucrat in an bear bones office in a nondescript building decide anything for us that another small piece of our civil rights has been chipped away. Government hinders progress. We can go back 233 years if you like when a king 3000 miles away decided every thing for you and there was no Constitution to protect you and you didn't have ANY civil rights. Every time that unknown bureaucrat acts your Constitution grows weaker. In just 233 years the United States has grown faster and become more prosperous than any nation in recorded history and the primary reason for that is that government didn't get in the way or was not allowed to get in the way.
  • Anti-research on innocent babies or kill the babies for research. Anti-foolishness posing as Science--ie man-made global warming, unproven evolution (none of the "scientists" that promote this fantasy were there to see evolution happening) Evolution flunks the scientific method. Calling something science doesn't make it so.
  • I would like to go back to 1962.
