I love WD40...it has fixed so many things!! Anything squeeky...anything stiff...it's ledgendery! When you think nothing will ever work again...get out the 'ole WD40...awesome!!
Anything that has a rust build-up! Works fabulously!
Rust prevention and unsticking locks. +1
Squeaky chairs.
squeaky door
To make it easier to undo my nuts.
The WD stands for "water displacing" and the product works well in many lubricating situations.
Caution: many people said they use WD40 in locks. WD40 leaves a dirt attracting film which gums up locks. Most brass and zinc locks become useless when WD40 is used and dirt is present. The preferred lubricant is graphite.

WD40 is great stuff.
I use it to remove price stickers on glass & plastic. Saturate the sticker, let it soak for a few minutes and the sticker easily lifts off.
I use it to clean stuff after an oil change.
To remove crayon marks from wallpaper. It works great!

We use it for anything which squeals, to make gliding parts in furniture work smoothly again and for about 100 other things.......
Just about anything that need lubricating. It will also remove moisture from inside of automotive locks, and electrical connections. +5

Does anyone know how to change a clutch cable on a '96 VW Golf? I know I'm supposed to attach one end to the pedal, but can't get to it.
