About 20 years ago, a workout and sparring partner from Karate had overdosed on black-tar heroin. (I did not even know he did drugs until then.) I went to his funeral in West Texas. The preacher implied that he might be in Hell but that God could have mercy on his soul. I think about what his parents must have felt to this day. . Do anyone in particular but the whole congregation. If you do this you going to hell or this etc. I do not think this is the way to bring people to God. though fear. God is love and that is what He wants our love.
