I've mentioned this before, but at the Denver Zoo in the 1970s, my then-wife and I were feeding peanuts to the elephants through a kind of "jail cell-type" of enclosure. This was allowed and encouraged by the zoo keepers, as long as you purchased THEIR peanuts, instead of bringing in "purchased outside" peanuts for them. I was holding my bag in my left hand, and feeding an elephant with my right one, when s/he decided that s/he wanted the ENTIRE BAG and latched his/her trunk around my entire left arm, trying to drag it into the cage, to get the entire bag. An elephant's trunk is as strong as THREE HUNDRED adult human males, and I knew that I had a choice: Resist, and lose my entire arm, or "go with the flow" and lose my entire arm. Fortunately, my wife at that time saw what was happening, screamed "NO!" and smacked the elephant on the trunk, HARD. Priase Gawd, the elephant immediately let go, because elephants are used to a Mahout smacking them when they do something very wrong, and my then-wife knew that. So, my wife at that time (and today, still one of my best friends) actually saved my life (or at least my left arm), with her quick action. It is funny today (over 30 years later), but at the time, it was terrifying, because my arm could have been torn from my shoulder, quite easily. The zoo keepers told me later on that such a thing had never happened at the Denver Zoo, previous to my incident. http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/mahout +5

No, but there was a rooster that chased my sister, i thought it was so funny lol, she was indeed scared of it though, the funny thing is, the rooster is way more scared of her then she was of it, all she had to do was turn around and chase it and make loud noises and it would have ran :).

Yep. Deer. A few of them. And though they may make you think of Bambi, when they get all puffed up and come at you, it isn't Disney that you are thinking of! I have watched a doe with fawns nearly kill a dog. I have had several deer who were hand fed (Shasta Dam) and used to people, strike me for whatever deer brained reason they had. I have also had one rattlesnake chase me. Lived around them all of my life, but only this one chased. And it was scarey! I have also been chased around a relatives house by their sweet little kitty. Mean little bastard kept me trapped on the couch for 3 hours until they came back from the grocery store. This one was probably the most frightening. The one I laugh at most are the little blue gill fish who see any mole, nipple or tiny toe as possible worms. They have caused a lot of guys to swim in t-shirts! Throw in geese, chickens, dogs, horses, bulls, and probably many I have forgotten, I can chuckle at all of them now.
