  • yes - i live in the heartland - lots of oil tanks - makes me nervous
  • I felt far more terrorised when the Provisional IRA were blowing up innocent people in Britain and Northern Ireland, funded in no small way by an American organisation called NORAID. The fact that most US citizens only woke up to terrorism in 2000 is a constant source of amazement to me.
  • of course not. Don't be silly.
  • No. No. A one shot lucky break for some terrorists.
  • No. No. A one shot lucky break for some terrorists.
  • Not in the slightest. And I can honestly say I wasn't even very scared right after 9/11 either. It was a sad day for sure, and quite depressing. If you're living your life afraid of the unknown or what could happen, you're not really living...
  • Not in the slightest!
  • No, though that's what the terrorists - and the last administration - would like me to feel. There are countries where driving down the road can kill you. America had been lucky up until 9/11 and we've been lucky since. Terrorism is not part of our daily itinerary.
  • Not in the least - I stand a far greater chance of being killed in my own bathroom then being affected by terrorism. These so called "terrorists" are a worthless lot anyway...nothing that they have done so far has really hurt this country in any meaningful way - yet they look like total idiots for the miserable little trouble they have caused. The only thing they are useful for is that they are something for right wing politicians and political pundits to exploit to provoke fear and loathing in some of our simpler minded citizens. Just like we were told for years to fear the commies - and before that the Nazis - and so on and so on.
  • well i truly belive that thee americans were behind 9/11, i would bet life it so all you have to watch out for is the other americans ok! who agrees...
  • not in the slightest. even back when it had just happened and most still believed "w"'s lies i was not fearful of further actions. that's why i was so much against all the knee jerk legislation like the usa (un)patriot(ic) act. sometimes i think our government screwed us more than the terrorists.
  • Maybe back during the first week after it happened, when I was eleven years old. It faded fast. And why is everyone saying, "Not in the slightest?" Is that the phrase of the day or something?
  • I actually feel more threatened by the US government's domestic response to terrorism. Eroding our basic liberties even further and threatening any innocent person with the Gestapo kicking in their door. I've served my country for 29 years so far and I'm ashamed of what my government is doing. +5
  • Terrorized ..... NO! Angry? ..... YES! Surprised? ..... YES! ... that it hasn't happened again!
  • No but all the people saying, "Not in the slightest" seem a little naive to me. The fact is that A LOT of people in the world hate us and there is that possibility of nuclear and biological terrorism... I mean everyone should at least be CONCERNED.
  • I think more is in store, but I'm hardly terrorized by that anymore that was almost a decade ago.
