Help answer this question below.
what do you mean "if" so far i have won the nigerian ,chineses and ghanain lottery twice (lol)
Yes and no, I would start my own company.
I'd give a reasonable notice period and quit my current job. But I'm sure I'd want to do something else, Maybe I'd do something like furniture refinishing or herb gardening.
definately pay off school go for my next year ( i need to get a couple thousand hours of work for tha as its an aprenticeship, then id take a buisiness course and then id start my own resteraunt and be head chef.
+5 if i won enough to put in savings and live off interest no i don't think i would.
That would depend on if I won enough to live comfortably the rest of my life...+5
yes, but it would be work I really enjoyed doing.
Yes...Gotta stay busy.
+5
Depends on how much the prize was!
If sufficient to pay my bills and still have plenty to live on after donating at least some to SPCA (you know me!), then no, I wouldnt continue working ~ not where I am anyway. It would, tho, allow me to do voluntary work in a field I adore :) .... oh and travel to Canada of course ;)
No, why would I?
I would, but it would be my own business where I was the boss.
Not for somebody else. I would come up with my own jobs.
Well yes because you have to pay taxes on the money$$$ or something so i'd have to
Yes , it would allow me to kick-start one or more of my inventions...all the way from conception to th store shelf - I'd only need 1 or two lawyers to do searches and some patent filing.
It's so tough to find investor money.
Then I could give to the less fortunate and with allot of money - begin my own charity - to where 99.9% would go directly to peoples needs.
yep. i couldnt handle, not working. i would work my own days and hours and probably on my wn buisness but i would never slack.
... yes and no ...
I run two small businesses from my home ... I would continue to teach health science and self defenese, but would begin to offer my lessons at a lower cost ... but I would close my software company and stop programming ...
Not in this job.
I think the definition of work might be something you would stop doing if you won the lottery.
possibly, but maybe differently than now
yes ... but for myself or for free... after I pay for a really good university (not just the classes but the whole university)
I was a winner in the Publishers Clearinghouse Sweeostakes and continue to work. No kidding. They sent me a letter and said I won, along with a check....... for $1.00.
Yes, I cashed the check. WOOO HOOOOOO!!! Let's get something from the dollar menu at McDonald's!!!
No way, I will create a job for people
no, there will be more work to do.
yes i think i would still work nothing beter then earning your own money at the end of the week
If the amount was very large I'd take a break for a few years and travel. After that I'd either buy a local business or start my own or both. In any event I'd hire any of my close friends who wanted a cushy job taking care of my interests when I'm traveling.
No way. i'd show up for work the next day hours late and flaunt my new wealth too p*ss-off the other workers and tell managment take this job and shove it.
Yes, in a way. I would form a company to put people to work. Then I would hire me a person to run the company, so,I could just feel good about myself, by helping all the people I put to work. Let them keep there self repect by working for a living.
And the company I would form would go around fixing houses for old folks, cleaning streets, fixing up neighborhoods. To make my little corner of the world a better place for people to live and raise kids.
yep..parttime.. for myself
I would spend the rest of my life studying.
I would volunteer taking elderly folks to appointments.
I don't work yet but my dream job is working for the FBI. I would use that money to get into that job.
no I would travel the world and give it away for fun but I could be insane
I would work at having fun.
My job kinda sucks so no, I wouldn't do that job anymore.
I would use my newly found fortune to pursue the interests that appealed to me more.
In conclusion, I'd work, but it would be work I wanted to do, not work that I had to do.
I'd work harder and better... Because I need money to do the things I want to do career-wise. And It would allow me to make those dreams come true, for myself, by myself. Then I could also help others along with theirs.
Yes,because if I quit working, who else would bring pleasure to u!
