Why is it that the same people who voted for Bush not once, but TWICE, seem to think their opinion on politics has any sort of relevance?

    Well, given that they're somewhere north of 40% of voters (probably north of 48%), they probably have some kind of "relevance." Even if they're dumber than toasters.

    Perhaps because his campaign promises were in tune with their personal opinions. At least George 43 did not attempt to deflect questions about his actions with semantic games such as, "It depends on what the meaning of the word 'is' is."

    I expect your question will soon be applicable to Barack. Will he resort to this response "It depends on what the meaning of 'transparent' or 'change' is."
