  • i have to ask why you put it as peace=democratic, war=republican republicans want peace too; they just have a different view on how to get it i think we should just stop fighting. it's tough on everyone & we're not getting anywhere with it, but i don't like to get tangled up in those sort of things :)
  • War carefully applied, not because 'someone insulted my daddy'.
  • Everthing should exist without one others dont exist, every reaction has equal and opposite reaction,so if there is joy there will be sorrow,if there is a disease there will be a cure,if there is a war there will be peace, you cant experince a thing if the opposite of that thing doesnt exist this is called equilibrium, for every hero there must be a villan or an oppresing situation without that no hero can be recogonized,so if u ask me one doesn't exist without it opposite, too much of anything is good for nothing. sorry if i misspelled the word.thank u.
  • Definitely peace. War doesn't solve problems, only creates new ones. It's essentially the giving up of hope to find a peaceful solution. . I disagree with your assessment of Dem/Rep. When we went to war in Afghan, it didn't get that way without the help of Dems. After the Gulf of Tonkin incident before Vietnam, the Senate voted 98-2 in favor of war. I don't think I need to tell you there were more than 2 Dems in the Senate at the time. +3
  • Boy are you into stereotypes! We all want peace regardless of our politics. Interesting how our new President (that "O" word) seems to want to add troops to our Middle East activities.
  • Democratic "peace" is peace experienced by an ostrich hiding its head in the sand.
  • Why does peace equal democratic and war equal republican? No matter who you are or what you believe (unless you are a pacifist) if someone threatens your life, you will defend yourself! And war is -- well, should be -- the exact same thing on the national scale. I know I am idealizing things. Even wars that did good had some bad in them too: none are pure self-defence. But I think that is the mark to measure a war by: are they conquering, or are they defending? Most of the wars I hear of would fall into the conquering category, so I guess my answer is Peace. I am neither democratic or republican.
  • Peace Democratic? War Republican. Oh I never knew that. So all Democrats are peacful and all Republicans are bad. Oh brother. I'm a Democrat and trust me we ain't all that perfect honey.
  • oh bullshit. Of course peace is preferable but sometimes it's not an option, and your simplistic political assignment is nothing short of offensive.
