  • It might be better - and less dangerous/confrontational to make a formal complaint to your local council offices (town hall?). They may decide to take action, especially if you can any other concerned parties to join you in your complaint. It's best not to antagonize your neighbours since you have to live alongside them.
  • This is a bad idea on several levels. Just don't do it. Where do think cars are supposed to drive?
  • Believe it or not if they can prove you did it you'll be purchasing new tires. Why don't you buy those little cement triangles designed to keep people off your grass. Paint them white and place them on your border instead.
  • I think in general, you are liable for anyone who is hurt on your property. Given that they are trespassing though, you might have some protection. I suggest you google phrases like "home owner liability," find out about your state laws regarding trespassers on your property, and if you have coverage, what you get with your home owners insurance. - or... you could put some decorative large rocks or a fence around your yard edge. google "landscaping rocks" http://www.winsladedesign.com/images/landscaping_rock_garden_t.jpg http://www.landscapingideasonline.com/finding-landscaping-rocks.php if you put a fence up and they run it over you can for sure smack their asses with a 'pay for my damaged fence' claim
