Help answer this question below.

The song "ready when you are" by trapt. is it about his gf having been sexually abused and he's letting her know she can take her time with him and everything that goes along with the realtionship? if im wrong what is it about?

    I am not sure about the "sexually abused" thing.

    Here some interpretations:
    "I think its about a guy waiting for a girl who is confused and doesn't know what she wants. Shes been hurt before it seems and doesn't want to be hurt again so hes basically saying he'll be there when shes ready for him."

    "This song has great meaning to me and I beleive it is about two lovers who have been off and on for a while now. He wants to rekindle the relationship, but doesn't want to make a fool of himself, and has great hope for their future together."

    "this song is basically talking about a girl whos been hurt by previous boyfriends, by cheating or such, and she's afraid to start another relationship, and the singer is saying that he'll be there for her, and he'll be ready to take that risk when she is."

    "he wants to get back together with a girl, but he doesnt want to force her back into it before she is ready. he is willing to wait until the moment is right for them 2 to be together again."

    "I'm pretty sure it's about a guy that wants to try again with a girl and he is waiting for her to be ready"
