  • Unfortunately, you can't stop your child from seeing her father, simply because you don't like his choice in girlfriends. I have had the same issue, my ex has had a whole slew of girlfriends in the 8yrs we've been apart, all of them around my son (just turned 11.) I wish I could tell you there was a law against it (for my sake too!) but, alas, there is not. Hopefully, your x is capable of making decent choices as a father, and will take care of the decisions he makes regarding your child & his current. That said, if you have a reason to feel like your child is in danger around her, by all means, go for a restraining order, to keep her from being around her. However, in this case, not only would you create further tension between you and your x, but you'd have to prove she's a danger to your child. Good luck!
