I think it makes a lot of sense to live in a sorority house. I just joined a sorority, but I have not lived in the house yet. Here's what I can tell you: Sorority houses typically have rules, like no men in the bedrooms and no alcohol in the house. In my experience, these rules have always been followed. It's just like having female roommates. The difference is that your roommates are your sisters, so they share many of your values and beliefs (principles like scholarship, leadership, fellowship, and service - this is what sororities and fraternities are based upon). So you're living in a house full of girls who want to do well in school (and need to because of the GPA requirement), have leadership experience and aspirations (by holding an officer position or simply planning/participating in sorority events, like philanthropies), and get along with you because they are your sisters and you share a common bond. It makes sense because you are having a good experience, developing and growing as a person, and learning a lot from all the amazing girls you live with.
