Yes they are, especially if they're raw and organic. As has already been answered, they're a great source of some nutrients. They're also a good source of fiber and some proteins. If you eat nothing but almonds until you're full without overeating, then you'll be fine. If you eat nothing but almonds for more than a day then you might start developing nutritional deficiencies.
