No I do not trust them.
-
No way! But a gay atheist woman would be fine.
-
No problemo.
-
This would depend on my feelings toward the person. I've used many babysitters in the past and never inquired about either their sexual orientation or their religious preferences. But I am concerned about whether they are responsible, reliable and cool-headed in an emergency. These factors are more important to me.

Sure..my kids might scare his ass straight though:)..just kidding:)
-
I would be more likely to have a gay atheist babysitter than a straight religious one, I don't want my (hypothetical) childrens' heads filled with nonsense and lies while I'm out.
-
yeah sure why not?!.. with upstanding "straight", "drug free", "religious" people in the world like Aimee McPherson, Lonnie Frisbee, Billy James Hargis, Jim Bakker, Marvin Gorman, Jimmy Swaggart, Mike Warnke, Robert Tilton, John Paulk, Paul Crouch, Douglas Goodman, Ted Haggard, Paul Barnes, Lonnie Latham, Richard Roberts, Bishop Earl Paulk, Coy Privette, Joe Barron, Todd Bentley, Tony Alamo and many others who are supposed to be oh so holy and devout doing all the evil wicked things they did (many including homosexual, pedophile, acts) why would I feel any more or less afraid for my child's safety with an atheist, homosexual male? I don't read in the papers every day about atheists or gays raping/molesting kids, embezzling money, taking drugs or other things LEADERS of the moral majority have been doing..and these people are supposed to set the standard for others..if they can't be good people, I shudder to think what their followers might be capable of! Maybe they should take their own advice and let he without sin throw the first stone...and practice what they preach! As for you, if you are a christian, how un-christianlike is it to ask such a question and assume someone's lack of religion or their sexual preference means they could do any better or worse than those of the religious following? Maybe you too should take a look at what goes on in your own flock before you start making assumptions about others. I am an atheist and I am a good person (probably better than nost religious people I know) and though I am not gay..I am smart enough to understand that being gay does not mean sex fiend or pedophile..they are totally different things!
-
Sure. I don't see why I should shelter my kids from being exposed to the variety of life...how else will they learn to accept diversity and be able to embrace it? I wouldn't go out looking for one purposely, but if the local babysitter happened to be gay and atheist I see no wrong.
-
Why not?
-
I would let anyone I knew well and trusted, look after my children regardless of, gender, religion or sexual orientation.
-
A person's religion or sexual orientation would not have any bearing on whether I would choose them as a babysitter or not. Only if they were trustworthy, safe, and qualified.
-
No kiddies here, but if I had 'em I would have no problem with it.
