Do you ask questions more for yourself, or more for the "bag"?

About 1/3 of my questions are for my desire to know something (e.g., what was the largest empire in terms of square miles?), another 1/3 because I'm interested in people's opinions on something (which Beatle is/was your favorite vocalist), and 1/3 for AB (on a scale of 1-10, how much do you like to cuddle?).

Most of the time I ask questions for myself because I would like to know how others feel about a certain situation. However, sometimes I just pull a question out of the air and post it! That is usually the one that gets the most points! lol

for myself. recently, it was the first place i went to at 2 am, when none of my friends were awake. the answers were helpful and helped me resolve my problem. it's a great resource. -- and -- once you're been on the 'bag for a while, you build a rep, and people know if you are asking questions for points or for answers, and at the end of the day, you get what you put into this.

Myself. I ask questions I would like others to ask so I could answer them. I can't know who out there wants what questions..I only know what I want to ask. Happy Tuesday FI! :)

I don't really ask silly questions, but I'm a sure bet for a silly answer to a silly question.

I ask questions very rarely but mainly just to find out peoples reactions. I rarely ask questions that are going to earn a lot of points I do not have the fluffy imagination or would be too embarrassed asking questions that are obviously just to get cheap points. I would rather Moderate than make myself look a fool.
