Rubbish bags come in all different sizes. We have what is called a 32 gallon trash container which is provided by the weekly trash collection service for 'garbage' which is usually 1/2 full when they come. They also collect yard and garden trash twice a month in a 96 Gallon container, and recycles twice a month in a 96 gallon container, and those are usually full each month.

I recycle so only three black bags every two weeks

2 cans a week, they arent usually full.

We aren't allowed to put bags out for our trash pickup in our town. Everyone had to buy big dumpster/cans that the garbageman hooks onto the truck and they're automatically dumped into the garbage truck. Each home usually puts out 1 or 2 of them. We also have another truck that picks up yard waste and one that picks up recycling.

Most weeks it is two. Every once in a while it may be three.

Maximum 3 bags/bins every two weeks. Anything more, and we have to pay $1 for each extra bag/bin.
