IM A MECHANIC AND DONT EVEN NOW WHAT YOU SAID!!!!!
IAM NOT A MECHANIC BUT DO ALOT OR RVING AND I DON'T KNOW WHAT YA SAID
I'm with the mechanic. I didn't really get what the question is but I have an answer. Get a back up for when that sort of thing happens. Something like this Emergency Jumpstart unit.

There is also some important information about batteries and what happens when you drain them at this Knowledgebase.

your car charges the battery or generator or plug it in to the electric tree. get a new battery or check the charger
Could be an alternator. I had a problem with my Chevy Cavalier several years ago that the battery wouldn't stay charged. The mechanic finally figured out it was the alternator. I'm not knowledgable about cars by any means. This is just a guess based upon a past experience.

You're reading Had 2 get batt for 75 Airstream. Worked fine unhooking w/elec jack @ camp. Upon rehooking, batt was dead. Jack didn't budge. Had to replug. Used total elec @ campsite. What made batt get drained? What charges batt? Old 1 worked fine. Bought same kind.
