  • As long as it was properly frozen, yes. I would suggest removing the entrails before fully thawing(it's easier and less mess). Submerge the fish in cold water for 10 minutes. This will soften the skin without damaging the meat. Then you can clean and scale the fish. Fully thaw in your fridge over a day or two, draining the storage container frequently to prevent odors.
