  • The Vatican would have you killed.
  • Nothing can "prevent" you from authoring such a document, but in order to establish any credibility whatsoever (among Christians) you must write it 2,000+ years ago. +5
  • Well... Isn't that exactly what Joesph Smith did? You could, it doesn't even have to be a believable story, if the Bible is anything to go by... Anything you can't explain just put down to God or the Devil. Sorted. Instant religion.
  • absolutely nothing ... that's basically what every cult and false religion has done since the first century ... matter of fact, you would just be fulfilling prophecy that God said that more and more men would be doing just that exact thing ...
  • Nothing, but it won't catch on until at least 500 years later.
  • Go for it - good luck.
  • The issue is credibility, certainly. Many people have developed their own religions and gotten people to follow them (see also: L. Ron Hubbard). But it can be tough to put together a convincing story and get people to buy it. Why would you want to do this?
  • Nothing! Go ahead! Be sure to talk with a giant green salamander in the desert before you do!
  • Why not, Ron Hubbard did it, the Mormons did it, so did the Muslims and Christians. The only thing that seperates the mundane and the sacred is time.
  • people invent religions all the time. the mormon religion was started EXACTLY like this. theres a really good south park episode that tells the entire TRUE story. i also heard about some prison that had a rule that anyone in any religion would get to regularly practice their beliefs....so a bunch of convicts made a religion where every friday, they had "mass" which consisted of drinking red wine and eating steak.
  • Well, if you want to try and do it, go ahead. I heard of things "alightly" more stupid and foolish.
  • I am not sure if you are just kidding or not, but I would say that the difference would be that “your” bible would be inspired by you, the real Bible was inspired by God. Yes, written buy Man, inspired by God, something like the lives of those that believe in Him are. In addition, The Bible still reveals God to those that read it, which would not happen if the book is not anointed to do so. This cannot be reproduced. in Christ..
  • Not a f-ing thing xD
  • Were you REALLY inspired by God? It will soon become evident whether you were or not, by the "changes" that will take place in your life. What "changes", you ask? Write your "bible", and see!!!! Heh-heh-heh.
