I often wonder who watches it...I have done so occasionally and it infuriates me as I always come in when it is doing the weather for some part of the country of world I don't care about right now....and the programmes....it's a scream!

I think it will. I watch the weather channel often, mainly becuase I love weather and I want to become a meteorologist. It'll be around forever because that station is very accurate, and its the only one that I know of that gives the weather for the whole country, plus international weather. That channel helps people also understand what the weather is going to be like in a few days. Lets say they're doing the weather for the middle of the country, and there's a cold front. The meteorologists on that show explain how the cold front is moving, and explain who's going to get hit with bad weather and when. Its a very helpful channel, more helpfull than news shows, its nonstop weather, 24/7!

Maybe, I think so. But I like listening to 1010 WINS; every couple minutes the weather forecast is announced.

As long as there is weather, there will always be the weather channel.
