Help answer this question below.
In this day and age marriage is not the important factor, that you can support a child with love, respect and material things is very important, on the other side 18 is in my eyes much too young, she is a child with children herself, she should be out and going to parties with friends and not spending her time changing nappies.
My daughter is 13 and has still no interest in boys...I have had a couple at the door though....wait a min...I thought they wanted to play!!!....ok..Mummy-daughter talk coming up!!
As a Daddy of Three Girls:
NO !
This is why they should bring back chastity belts.
I have three children, and two more on the way. My seven year old and my toddler twins were all born out of wedlock. My second set of twins will be born within wedlock.
None of that makes a damn bit of difference as to how much I love my children or how well I am able to parent them. It's easy to make assumptions about another persons lifestyle when you know nothing about them, but it isn't right. If she is able to care for her babies and support them and love them, who cares?
Lol at the er, sarcasm of this! I dont think it's so much the wedlock thing, I think it's more the fact that she's still a teenager and is on her second child already! It certainly doesnt look very good. Not a very good role model no....
Great and I suppose the powers that be will give her another reality show to show us even more what a glamorous, wonderful life she has. God help our children.
It all started a zillion years ago with Ingrid Bergman and up to today we see role models of all ages...the script is the same, only the names have been changed. Sara Palin has one in her family...yes, even Sara Palin is a mom to someone who has had a kid out of wedlock. I wish the kid well...I really do.
She's the same as all teenage girls these days, I am really pleased I am no longer a teen. If I were, I would have children I wouldn't know how to control, probably on high class drugs, have no money, no nothing and walking around the streets all day, scruffy and shouting abusive language.
I think she is too young, married or not. She does have an advantage over most 18 year olds though, she is financially secure and seems to be more grown up than most girls her age.
I have no idea who Jamie Lynn Spears is but if having children is what she wants then that is up to her. I do not know her so can not judge whether she is a good mother or not. As to a role model for other unwed teenage girls, isn't it a parents job to teach a child to be independent and responsible for their own decisions? not blame them on someone else? Thats like saying, 'It wasn't my fault I killed that man your honor, I saw ( Some celebrity) do it". A childs first role models, and the only ones that should count, are their parents or guardians.
That's ridiculous!
Remember these are the Tabloids. It may not be true...
wow that is so irresponsible of her parents and her
Well, as they say in Hollywood "any publicity is good publicity". I feel sorry for the children. Hopefully she leaves the booze and drugs alone during her pregnancies. Brittany must feel so proud of the example she has set for her little sister.
Who gives a shit? She's a famous relative. Who aspires?
Well, if they want to be tagged as "Sluts" then fine by me, but I'll keep my zipper up.
Sigh, not surprising this day and age..Too many think love means getting naked and screwing like animals...
At least she has money, but a good mother that does not make. +5
Yes i think it is good news ,,,and she must be so happy to be having another child,,,!!! My parents never married !! why should they ? is there any need for it in this day and age....this is one thing i will never do....

I have a question for people who had kids in their teens: How would you react if your own child got pregnant/got someone pregnant as a teen

You're reading The tabloids are reporting that Jamie Lynn Spears, 18, is now pregnant again with her second out-of-wedlock child. Isn't that wonderful news? Aren't ya just "thrilled" for her? Isn't she an inspiration and a role model for other unwed teenage girls?

Got it posted and standing Barb,lol....it was funny though...the boy came calling for my Daughter..he asked if she was at home and I said "No!! why?"...he said that he just wanted to talk to her, I said "Why?"..he got nervous and was twitching with his feet and said he would look around where she could be, I knew where she was, but I wasn`t telling him, I have seen them together over the road with friends, the first time I have ever sneaked at the window, lol.
I have known this boy since he was tiny, but when my Daughter said that she is not talking to him at the moment, I had to hide my JOY,lol
