Nope. Racism is still alive and well, unfortunately.

Racism is a shadow of mankind. It is eternal.

I wish it did and his election certainly changed a lot of minds and FAIR PLAY to him! But sadly no racism is still alive and well :(

I think Obama's election has exposed how widespread and deeply-ingrained it is in American society.

It would have been nice if it did bud sadly no. I even see it happening daily in the apartment complex where I live and it breaks my heart.

No, Democrats agenda is to divide and conquer. They refuse to let racism die, it is their lifes blood.

I think people are much more aware of racism with Obama as President. The intriguing part is that he had a white mother & black father. My guess is that he struggled with his racial heritage as many young people do. But, never the less he's the best of both races mixed into one...intelligent, talented, and a huge sense of patriotism.

No, and it probably won't end until people are so mixed that you can't tell one race from another any more. However, his election does show clearly how far the US has come since MLK and Rosa Parks and others. I think it will also serve to lead black people to strive for greater heights.
