  • I would have to come down on the side of free speech. Children can and do unlearn all sorts of wrong things as they grow (they often trade them for new wrong things). . Honestly, the State was never meant to interfere with the raising of children. Obviously someone needs to interfere where children are physically harmed. Beyond that the government just isn't qualified.
  • I don't think anybody brings their children up as racist. I do teach my children however that they should NEVER allow people to make them feel guilty about history, it's in the past and they we're never a part of it. I think it works both ways, my partner went to a school where white kids were the minority, those kids were allowed to call the white kids anything and everything. obviously they were taught this attitude towards white people by their parents. If a white child were to say anything in their defence they were racist, It's ridiculous. I wouldn't ever dream about going to somebody elses country and have the audacity to bad mouth them, i'd be grateful.
