I don't like guns period.

Nutty. They're trying to prove something. But for me what they are proving is that (1) they need a gun because they are insecure and (2) they are nuts.

Show offs whose need for balls requires that they carry guns. I feel sorry for them.

of course it's alright, it's perfectly legal and respectable for law-abiding citizens to carry their legally owned, permitted, registered, recorded, guns. lighten up...we live in a free country

A gun would not make it within 200 yards of a Town Hall in which the president is giving a speech !!!

Gee, remember when criticizing Bush earned you the label un-American? Or better yet remember when the couple who wore anti-Bush t-shirts were arrested in WV? Imagine what would have happened to left wing protesters showing up at a Bush rally with a gun? (Yes liberals own guns too) I am pro-gun and support the right to carry. Still the people who are showing up at town hall meetings raving with guns piss me off. Not all pro-gun people are fanatics you know? Bringing guns to political meetings is counter productive to the free exchange of ideas but that's what they are after right? Should someone actually shoot the president I would consider every person who brought a gun to the event in part responsible because they make the job of protecting him that much harder. But again...that is what some are after isn't it? People really need to step back a bit and consider the larger implications of their words and actions. Our enemies, and rest assured we have them, are winning as we destroy ourselves from within. A house divided against itself cannot stand....those words are as true today as they were when first spoken.
