I don't know LT. What constitutes "illegal"? If I borrow someone's CD and download a program am I committing a crime? If I purchase a used computer from someone and it has illegal stuff on it, do I get nailed for it? What exactly to you mean by "illegal"? Thanks.
-
no ... my son burned a bunch of songs that somebody had swiped off the internet and i deleted them ... told him it was no different than if he walked into wal-mart and took off with armfulls of cd's ... part of the problem with society today ... once you start excusing bad behavior and morals, it gets easier and easier to let things keep sliding

Absolutely none. I use only Ubuntu software and Firefox browser. Both are free!
-
No, but the idea of illegal software is somewhat silly.

no I dont need anything illegal there is some great freeware/open source software available online.any major programs I buy for my apple mac are so great I wouldnt even consider illegally downloading them.support your computers makers and they will continue to push forward the boundries of what a computer can do.

Yup. Software and Songs.

No! Usually, such involves theft, stealing product and services brought about by the work of someone else. I would not engage in anything of that sort...any more than I would break into and rob your home...just because "everybody's doing it". No way! In my mind there are good and sound reasons behind "Thou shalt not steal." +5

Nope. I'm a Linux user and exclusively use free and generally open source software

Sure do. But it all comes from companies that are not in existence anymore, like Casady and Greene. It's still under copyright, therefore illegal.
