The battery in my 2003 volkwagen Jetta is dead, the door will not unlock manually or using remote. Can anybody help. thanks

You may have to call a locksmith. They will have to use a tool called a slim jim and slide it down between the window and the door and pop the lock that way.Worst case scenario is to replace the lock. But then hey, the lock smith is already there.
