Yes, the individual 'signs' that make up the last days or end days have been happening since forever... but the difference is today: all the signs are happening at once around the world and more frequently. These are, no doubt, the last days the scriptures refer to.

The sun is a different color. Its not the big yellow sun. It seems to be more white. The light is different. Shadows have a different kind of light.

IN OUR daily lives we are often confronted with the need to know what time it is. Is it time to get up in the morning? time to go to work? time to eat? time to get ready to attend a meeting? time to go to bed? Over and over again each day most of us have some need to measure time in order to move from one feature of our daily activity into another. It is as the Bible states at Ecclesiastes chapter 3, verse 1: “For everything there is an appointed time, even a time for every affair under the heavens.” If we did not make a point of being aware of time, our lives could become disorganized very quickly. We might easily waste too much time and not spend enough time engaged in productive activity, activity that sustains our physical and spiritual lives. Aside from the need to regulate our lives properly, an understanding of matters involving time can be a source of great encouragement to Christians, since many of God’s purposes toward earth and man involve a time factor. In connection with some of the events foretold in the Bible, God has revealed the time factor involved as a help to true worshipers. That such kind of revelation inspires true worshipers Jesus noted when he exclaimed: “I publicly praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and intellectual ones and have revealed them to babes.”—Matt. 11:25.

The only difference? Is that the Christians nowadays are whining louder than ever about the "Last Days". And STILL getting it wrong. How many christians out there have 30 year mortgages? Says something about their convictions doesn't it?

I guess it depends on what you mean by "happening since forever". I can point to one sign that wasn't around for about 1876 years. That is the existence of the state of israel. This came into being in May of 1948. The existence of a jewish state in the traditional land of israel is a requirement for some of the end time prophecies. Is that sufficient or do you require more?

Not really. There have been earthquakes, storms, wars and rumours of wars, gay people and teenagers disrespecting their parents for a hundred thousand years. We hear about them a lot more than 100 years ago thanks to our advanced telecommunications. Granted, Israel is a state again - but even that was decades ago and nothing else has REALLY changed...

Nope. The thing about christian prophecy is that the authors chose things that they knew would easily manifest in the future to make it seem miraculous to the masses once they did manifest, giving credit to the whole system. Certain prophecies were added like Jesus returning which were put there for a higher reason. Prophecies in the old testament about Israel expanding and such were made true by the United States in an attempt by world ruling groups to make the prophecies come true. Its all a scam and that was the plan from the beginning. While Israel was being expanded after WW2, people were seeing it in reference to prophecies in their bibles, seeming as if the whole book was the "word of God". Really it was all in preparation for the NWO, something that has been planned for many hundreds of years. The bible was strategically formed by powerful groups of people as a guide to mislead the people in the quest for a new world order. Their intentions were to disarm the population and make everyone look for whatever was in the bible, with guards down. No resistance was the goal.

"when the fig tree blooms, this generation shall not pass away before seeing the comming of the LORD" the fig tree is representative of Israel, and Blooming hasn't happened since just after 70AD, but now they have their nation back. in MAY 1948. and they got back jerusalem and many other places to complete Israel, on June 10 1967. a generation is talked about in different ways, one is 20,40,70, 100,120, and a life time if we go to extremes and say that it is 120 years for the last known survivor then 2087 should be the last year before Christs return...this is definately not to say that Christ will return on that day...NO NO NO...it is to say when he should return by. it may be tommorow, or 2015 or 2027 or whenever he wants I am simply giving the extents of the prophecy...the Good thing is that it should be in our life time, that is awesome to me. There is no way around it. Any lasting or meaningful peace in the Middle East generally, and between Jews and Palestinians particularly, is folly and unbiblical. The only future Biblical peace between modern Israel and her enemies will be a false peace that is brought by the antichrist at the start of the supposed seven year "Tribulation" period that will precede Christ’s Second Coming. During the first 3.5 years, the antichrist will honor his treaty with Israel. Yes, but only a Christian with a personal relationship with God through JC would understand what has not been hidden only taken for granted and that is the prophecies of the Bible and we who realized that we are currently living in the first 3 chapters of the Book of Revelations. The prophecy was that the nation and the Temple in Jerusalem would be totally sacked and that the nations people would be scattered throughout the world which occurred in AD 70 and would come together again in future times. May 14 1948 that prophecy was manifested and what that means to us who understand the ways of the Lord is this: The God of Abraham,Isaac and Jacob promised a Messiah to them as their salvation. When this Messiah came the Jews rejected Him. The word says that salvation came first to the Jew and then the Gentile. Does the Jew accept the salvation of the cross? NO. Does God leave anything undone? NO. What are the odds of a culture being dispersed through out the world for over 2,000 yrs. and being absorbed into the fabric of its host country and in every country still maintaining its culture,separate language and religion? There is only one people who have endured and that is the people He chose to do so the Jews. In order for Him to keep his Covenant with them and His promise of salvation and national promise to be fulfilled, it's people had to come together again as a nation. To Christians this was the indicator that now we are in the "end times" because God is dealing with the Jews again as a nation.The Bible says that this shall be a time of wars and rumors of wars, earthquakes,famine, pestilence etc. would foreshadow the end.All those as Jehovahs and Edgar Casey's who predicted what JC said what no man would know were wrong because all of the prophecies had not come to pass, so wars and rumors of wars, etc. only proved to be false warnings, now that the nations return has come to pass the next prophecy to be fulfilled is the Rapture of Christ Church. Not that I can see. "But of that day or hour, no one knows, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Be watchful! Be alert! You do not know when the time will come." (Mark 13:32-33) Jesus told us in no uncertain terms that we were not to know when the end of the world would come but that we were always to be ready. Each new Christian denomination seems to worry about the end of the world a bit too much. Then after a couple of centuries, they realize that there are always wars and rumors of wars, etc. I won't even mention the hundreds of false predictions of the end of the world over the centuries, all of which were based on individual interpretations of biblical prophecies. The first century Christian Church thought that Jesus was going to return at any moment. Only after a couple of centuries did the Church realize that it may be 2,000 or 4,000 or 8,000 years before Jesus returns. The Catholic Church wisely follows Jesus' advice and teaches that each of us should live as if we will meet our maker in the next ten minutes and that we need to work to make the world a better place for our 100 X great-grandchildren. Do not worry about the end of the world. Trust God to make sure everything happens to plan. Just be ready to meet God at any time.
