    pimples tend to be lighter on top and deeply shadowed around the bottom. You can reverse this effect by applying a darker concealer to the top half and a lighter to the bottom. Also, tend to lean one shade darker than your natural skin tone when covering acne... for lighter concealer can easily draw attention to the spot. hope it helps :)
