He needs to be overthrown by a UN force, the UN need to step in with humanitarian aid on the ground, and a new leader elected to turn the country around. Mugabe should then be tried for crimes against humanity.

Yes it should. The UN should formulate a resolution insisting that human rights should be upheld for all Zimbabweans within a very short time-scale. Failure to comply should result in a multi-national force involving good proportion of troops from other African countries entering the country, by force if necessary, to ensure the resolution is upheld. Mugabee and his henchmen should be arrested and tried, in The Hague - not Zimbabwe, for crimes against humanity. Of course this won't happen because the people who really call the shots would only be interested if Zimbabwe was an oil-rich country.

He must be removed from his position as president and put in jail where he belongs, he must actually be starved to death!!!!
