Who knows if the percentage is as high as the general public with regard to cheating; there's probably no difference there, except that, being famous and meeting people, there are probably more opportunies to go astray. What'd Oral Roberts do - that stupidity about raising money or God would take him? When money's involved and your TV show is about raising money, the attitude to get more probably feeds on itself, and if you can take "just a small percentage" for yourself, doesn't God want you to be happy? Money warps people.

So many? You named 3. Many of those who "Fall" aren't newsworthy. However, it's normal to have men and women fall into the "Lustful" sin of sexual desire and such. Not uncommon in the bible and even had some kill the male to screw the female. The people who "Look Down" on these preachers are worse then the preachers as they use this to define the religion is "False"

I don't know the particulars about their scandals, but I know there is a tendancy of TV preachers to preach for money. (1Tim6:9,10; Mt10:8) http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1Tim6:3-10;Mat10:8;%202Tim%203:1-7&version=NASB;NKJV;HCSB;ESV;KJV

They remind us of Jesus' words at Matthew 7:15-19: “Be on the watch for the false prophets that come to YOU in sheep’s covering, but inside they are ravenous wolves. By their fruits YOU will recognize them. Never do people gather grapes from thorns or figs from thistles, do they? Likewise every good tree produces fine fruit, but every rotten tree produces worthless fruit; a good tree cannot bear worthless fruit, neither can a rotten tree produce fine fruit. Every tree not producing fine fruit gets cut down and thrown into the fire. Really, then, by their fruits YOU will recognize those [men]".
