hmmmm... wonder where this came from

Sometimes the truth hurts, but whose truth is it and why is it more important than someone else's feelings?
-
Depends on the situation.
-
it depends what the situation was. if someones health or safety was at stake, then i'd say be honest, but if it was minor and could be lived with without mentioning, then there is no point in making someone upset.
-
If someone asks what I think, I'm honest. There are ways to do that without being brutal - it takes a little thought and gentleness. If my opinion isn't asked and there is no reason to give it - that is, if it doesn't involve someone's safety or make them vulnerable, I keep my big mouth SHUT.

honest

depends on how important it is..I would never opt to hurt someone's feelings. You can be honest without doing that..it's called diplomacy and tact. There is no need to hurt someone's feelings for the sake of preserving your standard. If someone's life or well being depended upon my being completely honest with no regard to feelings, I would have to say that I would be honest.
-
be honest- you get into less trouble that way...
-
depends on the person, Be honest but there are people you have to be brutally honest to, then there are the over sensitive. choose wisely
-
A sag. can be brutely honest. in this case, i would think before i said a word. i would have to count to 10, but thats ok, if it spares a family member or friends feelings.
-
I would be honest. I'm a big believer in the golden rule "Do unto others, as you would have done to you." And speaking from experience, the one thing that can hurt the most, is when someone lies to try and protect themselves and/or your feelings.
-
The truth hurts, so someone's feelings may get hurt, anyway. Being that there's no way to get around it, I'd be honest.
-
I would be honest and as gentle as I could be.
