When Michael "Little Joe" Landon was told that he had pancreatic cancer in 1991, he vowed that, "Death is gonna have to fight, to get me." He was dead, less than 90 days later. But, he fought it, and so would I. +5

Yes, I would fight it. That is my nature and what do I have to lose. I am not one to just throw in the towel.

I am a fighter. I would fight and fight and fight to my last breath. Life is good. My loved ones would miss me..I would miss them. Whatever it takes, I will fight. To do less would disrespect my family and friends. I am not a wimp, nor a quitter. :)

I hope so... one can never know for sure how something like that may change them, and whether they will always have the will to fight, or whether it even may bring out some fighting spirit that had previously lay dormant. I hope I would fight it with everything I had though.

If the odds were not in my favour, then I would rather it would all be over quickly, than to extend and extend, just waiting for the inevitable. I would rather use the time I had left enjoying every minute than sitting in a hospital bed hoping that this next bout of treatment would not make me feel sicker.

It would really depend on the diagnosis. Some people lose that last year of life to sickening treatments and I wouldn't want to do that.

Yes I would. My mom had cancer over 10 years ago. 30% survival rate. We got in with an Oncologist that had been working on this clinical trial that he had been having some success with. She has now been cancer free since then. Sometimes you have to look at other options out there and there are advances being made all the time.

Cancer is too unpredictable to make decisions based strictly on odds. I have seen healthy people die and people go through multiple stints of hospice and live. The worse that can happen if you fight and lose is that you end up right where you were. Fuck odds
