Obviously not. According to the books, He sacrificed his 'first-born' (Jesus) for the imaginary sins of humans - his toys! Ezekiel 16 shows He isn't a good husband either! * Ezekiel:16 exposes God as a ‘dirty old man’ grooming an orphan for sex and later an impotent jealous husband who can neither 'satisfy' nor punish his adulterous wife: sexy ‘Jerusalem’, who slept for FREE with practically the whole of the known world! SHAME!

in most ways...he lets us go and learn from our own mistakes...as any good parent knows that is how we find our way in life.

If God is my father / parent, why doesn't He reveal himself (no filthy jokes please) to me? What kind of parent hides from their kid, (even teasingly so, making it in any way hard to acknowledge Him or know He's there)?
