Yes, I did for a few months in the warehouse district of Omaha. I also lived in a Quanset hut for a couple of years in northeast Nebraska. It was long and narrow plus the walls and ceiling were the same thing...it's like living in a split tube or half of a culvert. It was fun living in both places.

Doesn't fully apply, but the dorm room I'm currently living in is only about 8' square. It's difficult cramming everything into a small space, but I enjoy it. It sounds odd, but I can't stand having extra room. Anyway, yes. I could definitely live in a narrow house.
