Ask for some time to vacate. That's the only thing you can do as far as I now because you signed no agreement. So that makes the owner have his own will. I don't know about the rules in your country. But still you can ask for some time to move.

move if no lease is given in most states it defaults to a month 2 month you can look into local laws on notice, but you may still have to move

If there is NO lease / contract ; then you have to MOVE within thirty days once you have been given a 30 day notice to vacate the premises ... Just so you know .... In the future ONLY rnet with a LEASE. Pay EVERYTHING such as deposit, and rents with a Check or Money Order so you you have PROOF of payment ... IF you are not given a Receipt. +5
